Our main markets are Location Based Services, Security and Defense & Aerospace. Our geospatial technology is used in many 24/7 environments such as 112 emergency response centers, military C2 systems and enterprise server solutions. We will continue building a world-class spatial product suite through constant innovation together with our customers and partners. We have a strong commitment to the emerging SDI market and will be launching more innovative solutions for setting up and maintaining enterprise-wide spatial data infrastructures.

Main Activities Carmenta develops a suite of software products for business-critical spatial applications. We invest heavily in R&D and have a strong team of skilled software engineers, spatial domain experts and dedicated consultants delivering professional services around our products. We are involved in many projects setting up and maintaining enterprise-wide spatial server platforms. We have a strategic enterprise agreement with the Swedish Armed Forces as a supplier of GIS tools. Here we work with geodata management and standards-based service architectures also participating as experts in DGIWG (Defence Geospatial Information Working Group). As an OGC member, Carmenta actively supports international standardisation efforts. We have a broad support for OGC interfaces in our Carmenta Server product and we promote the establishment of open and standaridized geodata exchange mechanisms at customers sites. Several public organisations and authorities use our server platform and we assist our customers in INSPIRE-driven projects.
