Mission and Objectives The federation represents the interests of its members in front of the state and encourages ongoing research on the safety and operation of pipelines.
Mandate The Fetrapi association, short for Federation of Transporters by Pipeline, was founded in February 1993 and represents 18 owners and operators of pipelines in Belgium.

Main Activities Fetrapi members are mainly active in the chemical, oil and gas sector. Together, they manage approximately 8,000 km pipeline in service, and they transport about 100 million tons of product per year. Pipelines offer many benefits with a profound positive impact on the environment and the mobility. It balances the costs of both government and industry. Fetrapi wants to play an active educational role and inform the relevant interest groups about the benefits of pipeline transportation. As a careful and responsible manager of a transport network in Belgium, the members of Fetrapi give every day absolute priority to safety, reliability and integrity of their installations
