Details
Mission and Objectives A large-scale project (1.7M EUR), set up in the framework of the BSIK Space for Geo-Information (SGI) research programme. The objective of this project is to create an easy and customised web-based access to primarily geological and hydrological information in relation to water management issues in the border area of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) and The Netherlands. The project activities to be carried out are seen as a contribution to implementation of the European Water Framework Directive (WFD) and to development of an international geo-information structure.
Mandate a three years long project, involving 12 public and private organisations
