Mission and Objectives The International Consortium on Continental Margins (IRCCM) is a broadly-based partnership of universities, research institutes, and industry targeted on marine research and education. It studies processes on continental margins, such as fluid flow, the methane/carbon cycle, as well as surface and subsurface imaging. The IRCCM addresses three fundamental pillars: research, infrastructure and education.

Main Activities IRCCM provides a platform for access to large-scale infrastructure, development of innovative marine science technologies, offers a broad range of educational opportunities and avenues for direct and intense cooperation between industry and academia, as well as public outreach.
