Typology Thematic
Comments The idea of this SDIC originated within a working group appointed to build a Spatial Decision Support System to help local authorities in carrying out the Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Master Plan of the Province of Naples (Italy). The working group includes technical officers of the administration, as well as external consultants and researchers. The SDIC aims at taking the best out of this experience to propose a spatial data framework and software tailored to the SEA procedure, which is extremely topical within the EU, being mandatory as of July 2004
