Formal Mandate Institute of Spatial management and Housing is R&D Instutution acting in the area of spatial planning and spatial management and housing. Institute have been preparing lot of studies of directions and determinations of development of municipalities as well as local spatial development plans. Institute is supervised by Ministry of Infrastructure of Government of Poland.
Institute was invited by deputy Minister of Infrastructure for discussion on standardization of content of spatial development plans in relation to Project of Mazovian (Regional) SDI.

Previous Experience relevant for INSPIRE development Institute is well positioned to works related to determination of user needs and data specifications of present and future use of land. Its tens of years of day-to-day prcatice in preparation of spatial planning documents, being used in every day life in Poland shall be used in cooperation with other LMOs and SDICs of Poland and of Europe, dealing technically with INSPIRE Implementation. Few example (but not exhausing) : coopearation with Polish LMO responsible for INSPIRE Implementation (GUGiK), Cooperation with Institite of Spatial and Cadastral Systems from Gliwice (SDIC), start of cooperation with PLAN4ALL - eCONTENTplus Project(SDIC), cooperation with SRC of Polish Academy of Science (GEOLAND2) partner of Poland, as well as with ORSIP Project (Regional SDI) and other regional SDI projects in Poland Institute's GIS staff have certain experience with GIS and remote sensing tools and looks forward to works in definition of Implementing Rules, Application schemas and standardization as well as harmonization works of spatial planning documents in Europe
